Jeune photographe au talent prometteur, David Afriat a déjà à son actif plusieurs réalisations professionnelles qui ont grandement contribué à sa renommée. En outre, il a travaillé comme photojournaliste au Journal Le Devoir en 2016 et en 2014, M. Afriat a vu son travail récompensé à maintes reprises par l’attribution de plusieurs prix et distinctions prestigieuses pour la qualité exceptionnelle de son travail, dont : deux fois 1er prix au concours Regards sur notre monde organisé par le magazine Photo Solution et Photo Life; finaliste au concours Le talent de chez nous, catégorie portrait, organisé par Lozeau.

Son humanisme et sa sensibilité lui permettent de réaliser des clichés hors du commun et d’une qualité indéniable. Sa passion du métier et la curiosité dont il fait preuve l’ont mené à parcourir l’Asie, l’Europe et l’Amérique du Nord afin de réaliser une variété de photographies de la vie urbaine, d’événements sociaux ou encore en milieu naturel.

Sortir de sa zone de confort et affronter des situations nouvelles sont pour lui des éléments très stimulants.

David Afriat, a young emerging photographer, made a name for himself through several professional achievements. Furthermore, in 2016, he was a photojournalist for Journal Le Devoir, and in 2014, he has also been granted several prizes and prestigious honours for the outstanding quality of his work: On two occasions, he won first prize, in the Regards sur notre monde (view of our world) competition organized by the Photo Solution and Photo Life magazine; he was a finalist in the Le talent de chez nous (the talent of our local artists) competition in the portrait photo category, organized by Lozeau.

His humanism and sensitivity allow him to take exceptional and high-quality photos. The passion for his work along with his curiosity led him across North America, Asia and Europe where he took a variety of photographs of urban life, social events and nature.

Getting out of his comfort zone and facing unknown situations are very stimulating elements for him.
